NAI Nashville Stanton Group Negotiates Two Leases in Historic Downtown Murfreesboro
NASHVILLE, TN – 20 February 2026 – NAI Nashville Stanton Group, a member of the world’s premier managed network of commercial real estate firms, announced it has negotiated two restaurant leases in historic downtown Murfreesboro, further enhancing the area’s mix of retail and dining destinations.
“Downtown Murfreesboro is steadily growing as a hub for shops and restaurants,” said Priscilla Smith, Vice President at NAI Nashville Stanton Group. “Our goal is to work closely with property owners to bring in businesses that respect the area’s historic charm while meeting the needs of the local community. These two leases reflect that balance and the strong momentum in the market.”
Located at 113 E. Main Street, the former home of City Café will become the newest location of Big Bad Breakfast, a rapidly expanding Southern-inspired breakfast and lunch concept founded in 2008 in Oxford, Mississippi. The ±3,471 square foot second-generation space offers a rare turn-key opportunity just off the historic square in a thriving, pedestrian-friendly corridor. Smith represented the landlord in the transaction, while Blake Swanson and Declan McGarry of The Shopping Center Group represented the tenant.
In a separate lease, 214 W. Main Street will soon welcome Bibles and Coffee Café. The ±2,940 square foot property spans two floors and is also situated just steps from the square. Rooted in Scripture and hospitality, the café aims to foster meaningful conversation and community connection. Smith represented the landlord in this transaction as well.
Both leases highlight Smith’s active role in shaping downtown Murfreesboro’s evolving retail landscape and reflect continued demand for well-positioned restaurant and retail space in the area.
